Client: Rowse

A year of Digital PR and Social Media with Rowse

When we teamed up with our bee-autiful neighbours Rowse a little over a year ago, our goal was to grow fame and awareness for them as the honey brand that protects the bees through its Hives for Lives programme. In short, this is a series of vital initiatives that aims to protect the bees and improve livelihoods through beekeeping. But obviously we’ve had far more to say on this…

Bringing the honey and the bees together in a hive of content

Bee facts, tips on protecting pollinators and bee-friendly nature advice form the onsite content section of Rowse’s website, entitled Hive of Information. This content hub is the reason we’re seeing audiences visit again and again, and the reason we’re giving to journalists who ask, “why should I include a link?”.

Making sure Rowse is being seen in the right titles for the audience

We identified the brand’s target audience as ‘millennial mindset’ so we’ve been making sure our outbound stories are media-friendly for the broad titles this segment is reading; Metro, Country Living and Stylist to name a few.

The grid is now buzzing with brand purpose

We revitalised Rowse’s social channels with fun, engaging and colourful posts that would resonate with our audience. From recipes and honey facts to bee puns and pollinator friendly flower advice, the followers liked, loved, shared and commented.
