Alberto Nania
Intern
Alberto is currently interning at Bottle as a Social Media and Influencer Executive. He spends most of his time supporting the Strategy team with reporting, research and keeping an eye on the small details. As someone who grew up online, he has a good instinct for spotting new trends early and understanding how audiences move across platforms.
What he enjoys most is the rhythm of social work. Planning a strategy, posting the content and then seeing how TikTok or Meta react gives him that mix of curiosity and adrenaline he looks for in a workday.
Alongside his internship, Alberto is finishing his Digital Marketing degree at Oxford Brookes University. Before joining Bottle, he worked on projects for Lavazza, the Oxfordshire Football Association and the New Home Improvement Group. Those roles gave him a useful look into different industries and helped shape the way he approaches clients now.
Outside the office, Alberto likes running, playing water polo and hunting for second-hand pieces in vintage shops around Oxford. He has played water polo for more than thirteen years and previously competed at national level in Italy while representing his region, Liguria.
He also enjoys bringing a bit of humour into the team and is the first to say that while he doesn’t take himself too seriously, he takes the work itself very seriously. A moment the team still talks about is the year he overslept and arrived late to the office. At the annual Christmas Party, during our Secret Santa exchange, our Steve Monk-Chipman, presented him with a custom street sign warning of “possible delays until 11am”. It’s been part of the office ever since.
