Dallaglio Foundation - 8Rocks
THE PROBLEM:
The Dallaglio Foundation is a charity that supports 14-17 year olds who are outside of mainstream education. Bottle have an ongoing relationship with the Dallaglio Foundation set up by Lawrence Dallaglio. As part of this, we were asked to create video assets for their annual 8Rocks fundraising gala in London.
THE SOLUTION:
8Rocks has a tradition of creating a short, comedy “ice-breaker” video at the beginning of the show. It always features Lawrence Dallaglio and we wanted to combine this with footage of the foundation’s work in action.
WHAT WE DID:
A handful of the young people that the foundation supports had been selected to spend a morning with three members of Team Wiggins at the Olympic Velodrome in London. We wanted to capture their experience and as we also had the opportunity to work with comedian, Jack Whitehall, so we decided to combine track footage with a reprisal of the very successful Samsung School of Rio videos that aired in the summer of 2016.
THE RESULT:
In addition to the ice-breaker video, we produced a piece of content for 8Rocks that documents the role of RugbyWorks programme in turning round the lives of the young people supported by the Dallaglio Foundation.
